BMC Pro Marco Pinotti Joins Cadence as Director of Performance

One of the world’s top cycling coaches joins Cadence Performance

Cadence Performance are delighted to announce that Marco Pinotti is joining the team as Director of Performance from 15th April 2016. Marco will lead the coaching and sports science team at Cadence which now consists of 3 Sports Scientists and 6 cycling coaches offering a range of fitness testing services to Cadence customers who range from novice road riders to competing athletes.
About Marco
Marco Pinotti has had a distinguished career as a professional rider including racing with Mark Cavendish at HTC High Road and then with BMC. He was Italian Time Trial champion six times and is a multiple stage winner in the Giro D’Italia and has held the Maglia Rosa. Marco also finished 5thin the London Olympics behind Bradley Wiggins and since retiring as a rider in 2013 Marco has worked in the sports science division of the BMC team with responsibility for coaching the BMC time trial team. This team went on to win the world Team Time Trial championships in 2014 and 2015. Marco also coaches  New Zealander Linda Villumsen who became the women’s individual time trial world champion in 2015. Marco will continue in this role with BMC and his role at Cadence will fit around his team commitments.
